They're the hugest and most absorbent--what more could I ask for in a dish towel? I purchased six of these flour-sack towels 3 years ago and they are still performing like work horses. If they ever wear out, I certainly intend to buy more from Chefs Catalog. I use the towels on my everyday dishes and cookware, as well as my bone china, silver, and fine crystal. Not only do they absorb quickly, but they are completely lint-free and wick out the moisture from the smallest crevices with ease. I have purchased other flour-sack towels in the past and found them to be smaller, less absorbent and not nearly so soft--yet the cost was about the same or higher.
